Partnering with Funeral Director's Life Insurance Company in their matching funds program, Foresight Family Funeral Homes contributed to The Gathering Place in 2010. The Gathering Place is a charitable organization which is local to Northeast Ohio, with locations in both the eastern and western suburbs of Cleveland. Their mission is to "support, educate and empower individuals and families touched by cancer through programs and services provided free of charge." The programs and services they offer range from support groups and individual counseling to yoga and diet and nutrition. There are both group and individual formats available.

The Member Firms of Foresight Family Funeral Homes are all active participants in their local communities and carry this tradition out in Foresight as well. Each Member strongly believes that funeral service goes beyond providing immediate funeral needs and bereavement care, and that it includes caring for the living. The principles of strong community ties and care for the living are both reflected in Foresight's gift to The Gathering Place.
